❓ Publisher FAQ

Here are the most common questions about Promoverto. If you can’t find what you need, email info@promoverto.com.

What is Promoverto?

Promoverto is a pre-redirect video monetization platform. When someone clicks a Promoverto link, a short 8-second video ad plays, and then the user is automatically redirected to the intended destination.

What do I need to do to start?

You only need to:
• Register as a publisher
• Add your website/page
• Paste the JS snippet once on your site (recommended)
• Add data-rv to the links you want to monetize

How do I connect my website?

Go to Pages and select your domain. You’ll see:
• A unique Key for your page
1) Paste this once on your site (Header/Footer or a code snippet plugin)
2) Add data-rv to any link you want to monetize

Tip: you don’t need to edit the JS code — just paste it once.

Can I generate links without adding the JS snippet?

Yes. In Pages, open Manual link generator. Use this only if you can’t / don’t want to paste the JS snippet.

Where can I use Promoverto links?

Promoverto works best before:
• Resource downloads
• “Read more” links
• Affiliate links
• Buy pages
• External redirects
• Link-in-bio destinations

What if no ad is available?

If no eligible ad is available, Promoverto redirects the user directly to the destination without showing an ad.

How much can I earn?

Promoverto uses a completed-view model:
• You earn $12.50 per 1,000 completed views (publisher 50% share).
• Only a fully watched 8-second video counts as a completed view.

If the video is closed before completion, that view is not counted.

What do “This month (MTD)” and “Available balance” mean?

This month (MTD) shows earnings from the current month (pending for the monthly close). Available balance shows earnings that have already been posted after the monthly close.

When do I get paid?

Payouts are processed after month close once your available balance reaches $20. Payments are currently sent via PayPal.

Earnings are posted to your available balance after the monthly close (posted on the 2nd). Payouts are currently processed manually.

Do I need to add a PayPal email?

Yes. If your payout method is missing, add your PayPal email in Payments. Without a payout method, payouts can’t be sent.

Where can I see my payouts?

Go to Payments → Payout history. You’ll see each payout’s amount, status, requested date, processed date, and method.

How often will users see ads?

To protect user experience, we limit ad frequency. Ads are shown max once every 5 minutes per visitor.

I tested twice and didn’t see an ad — is something broken?

Probably not. Frequency limits mean the same visitor may not see an ad again for a few minutes. Also, if no eligible ad is available, Promoverto redirects immediately without showing an ad.

How do Statistics work?

In Statistics you can view Daily or Monthly results, filter by page, and select a date range.

Key metrics:
Opens — the ad page was opened
Impressions — the ad was shown
Completes — 8-second video fully watched
Billable — completes that qualify for payment
CTA — clicks on the ad call-to-action
Continue — user clicked to continue
Auto — auto-redirect to destination
Err — errors
Earned — your publisher share (50%) for that period

Why do I have “Completes” but low “Billable”?

“Billable” is the subset of completes that qualify for payment. Some completes may be excluded due to policy or traffic quality checks.

What kind of traffic is allowed?

Only legitimate human traffic is allowed. Bots, artificial views, forced reloads, click farms, or any manipulation of views are strictly prohibited.

We monitor traffic patterns. Suspicious activity may result in earnings reversal, payout hold, or account suspension.

What type of content is allowed?

Promoverto is currently focused on math and EdTech communities as part of our early-stage rollout.

Pages should be relevant to your audience, provide real value, and not be misleading or deceptive.

As the platform grows and validates, additional verticals may be added.

What ad formats are supported?

Promoverto supports:
• Vertical (portrait) video ads
• Horizontal (landscape) video ads

Format selection may depend on device type and campaign settings.

For developers: how do I build links in code?

If you generate links in code, use URL encoding for the destination URL. You can find examples in Pages → For developers.

During testing, you can add &preview=1 to bypass the frequency cap. (Use preview for testing only.)

Can I also become an advertiser?

Yes. A single account can later have both publisher and advertiser roles. If you are interested in advertising, email info@promoverto.com.

Who do I contact if I have questions?

Email info@promoverto.com. Please include your account email and website when contacting support.
